Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) When Haroldo Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Arthur Morgan´s Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Nicu Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Ciriaco Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Flavius Băieșu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sportiv Medgidia and the Arthur Morgan´s Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Băieșu. With a little luck, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Nicu Arghirescu got control of the ball when Haroldo Etxatxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Morgan´s Club's Haroldo Etxatxu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. If Haroldo Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ferdinand Hidiș kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nicu Arghirescu made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ciriaco Froylan sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Buinton came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportiv Medgidia's Stelian Hulubei. But to his dismay, Stelian Hulubei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valentin Gil came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicu Arghirescu could save by the left post. Haroldo Etxatxu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Etxatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Arthur Morgan´s Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Gil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 47th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sergiu Timaru got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Victorino Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Arghirescu having to interfere. Ştefan Alupulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Buinton having to interfere. In the 67th minute of the match Sebastian Matei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Buinton skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute Valentin Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustin Horea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Buinton having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Haroldo Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Nicu Arghirescu. Club Sportiv Medgidia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 81st minute, Augustin Horea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sergiu Timaru got a free kick in the 85th minute. Sergiu Timaru hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Stelian Hulubei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samuel Buinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Alupulesei, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Club Sportiv Medgidia were awarded a corner. Sebastian Matei went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Augustin Horea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arthur Morgan´s Club's Samuel Buinton did a great save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Sportiv Medgidia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arthur Morgan´s Club.
