In the 22ndth minute of the game Augustin Horea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Death Ducks's Ronan Marler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes, Augustin Horea made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Real Death Ducks's Ronan Marler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Horea in the 31st minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Ronan Marler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Death Ducks's Ronan Marler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelian Hulubei in the 35th minute of play. Ronan Marler came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea. But to his dismay, Augustin Horea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Horea in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronan Marler saved Real Death Ducks from getting behind. Augustin Horea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronan Marler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augustin Horea to make the kick off. Lawrence Banks took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 66th match minute, Real Death Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deon Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Alupulesei during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ştefan Alupulesei hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Jermaine Brearley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marty Holden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurențiu Iosub to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Banks in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Death Ducks's zone, Stelian Hulubei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronan Marler came out of the goal and Stelian Hulubei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Real Death Ducks booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Horea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Club Sportiv Medgidia's Augustin Horea in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Death Ducks's goalie prevented a goal. Club Sportiv Medgidia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
