In the 3rd minute, Noel Imbreghts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Issa Bado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Scigan. Ekipa Gabi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Issa Bado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fabian Scigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Imbreghts, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Noel Imbreghts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Scigan. After a defensive mix-up in Ekipa Gabi's zone, Noel Imbreghts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Scigan came out of the goal and Noel Imbreghts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes, Lukasz Osowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekipa Gabi and the FC Ouagadougou National players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ekipa Gabi's Lukasz Osowski got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Aleksander Furgat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Noel Imbreghts notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ekipa Gabi's Fabian Scigan. Fabian Scigan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Ekipa Gabi's goal looked a bit too open when Issa Bado came free, but Fabian Scigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Noel Imbreghts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Fabian Scigan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Imbreghts made a kick off. Fabian Scigan came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's Noel Imbreghts. But to his dismay, Noel Imbreghts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Issa Bado sped through Ekipa Gabi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabian Scigan. Aleksander Furgat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ekipa Gabi's Fabian Scigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Imbreghts in the 66th minute of play. Moussa Tapsoba hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Ekipa Gabi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Noel Imbreghts fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Imbreghts in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Scigan saved Ekipa Gabi from getting behind. Fabian Scigan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Imbreghts in the 80th minute. Kazimierz Maruda hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ekipa Gabi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Noel Imbreghts 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Ben Jaddon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Furgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
