Paulopolis's Marcel Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barbaros Oral in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute Temel Ökkeş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r the free kick. The referee ignored S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's protests and gave Beşir Karakan a yellow card for diving instead. The corner ended in Barbaros Oral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Paulopolis's Marcel Mota did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Temel Ökkeş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Paulopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İlkan Birge's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel Mota firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 86 minutes of play, Paulopolis's Hudson Vargas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Metin Tanbek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. S⚽ma S⚽tes Sp⚽r's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
