Vassilis Symeonakis's late challenge caught a Cremonese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Papadimas in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Vitin saved Cremonese from getting behind. If Sixto Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Ondino scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stamatis Bravos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, one of O.T.E:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for O.T.E. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fotis Papadimas to make the kick off. Bartolo Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Primitivo Abadia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese and the O.T.E players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute of the match Thrasivoulos Stamatis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Vitin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Victorio Txema managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cremonese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Txema was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sixto Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Natsikas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The long shot by Teodosio Niva in the 71st minute really tested Stamatis Bravos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Horacio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Natsikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Ostargi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stamatis Bravos having to make a save. With his leg Stamatis Bravos managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Cremonese's Prudencio Ostargi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 79 minutes into the game, Christos Ntasios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O.T.E's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cremonese the free kick. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Christos Ntasios hit a great ball. Stamatis Bravos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prudencio Ostargi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. When Thomas Tsatsaronakis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Thomas Tsatsaronakis hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Ondino got free with Stamatis Bravos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play Cremonese's Victorio Txema was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 94 played minutes Cremonese got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Txema. The Cremonese supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cremonese would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
