Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Zeca Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caetano Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Samaniego in the 11th minute. After 22 minutes, Edmílson Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ and the Ornitorrincos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Angelillo Fuente from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Caetano Salles's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 24 minutes into the game, Valentín Bello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Caetano Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Ancavil's late challenge caught a Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Ancavil helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Ornitorrincos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Ancavil. 31 minutes into the game, Zeca Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Teodovico Chandia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Bello came free, but Caetano Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Salles made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when José Carlos Zapata sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute of the match, Valentín Bello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caetano Salles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentín Bello to make the kick off. Caetano Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Zapata in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, José Carlos Zapata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a rather tough play, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Modestio Jina got a free kick in the 55th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Caetano Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Ancavil in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Cipriano Ancavil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Ancavil in the 64th minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Caetano Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modestio Jina in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Ancavil came free, but Caetano Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Ornitorrincos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alipio Garbiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cipriano Ancavil came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ornitorrincos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Ancavil couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Modestio Jina came free, but Caetano Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Cipriano Ancavil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornitorrincos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 80th minute, Valentín Bello made a precise shot to the right of Caetano Salles. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. With a little luck, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Teodovico Chandia got control of the ball when Jonas Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caetano Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentín Bello in the 84th minute of the match. If Modestio Jina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Valentín Bello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caetano Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. When Octavio Samaniego fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ornitorrincos F.C.'s protests and gave Octavio Samaniego a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Ornitorrincos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Samaniego didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Ornitorrincos F.C. were the better team. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
