The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Orain got free with Ábel Barta in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes, Silverio Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caricancha and the Hungarian Olympic players grew even worse after the yellow card. János Fazekas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Barta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesus Jaunzuria. With a couple of smart ball manuevers János Fazekas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Llorenc saved Caricancha from getting behind. In the 26th minute, János Fazekas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Victorino Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Máté Berta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Llorenc having to interfere. Simon Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Dala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Fazekas in the 39th minute of the match. János Fazekas succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The Caricancha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungarian Olympic were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and János Fazekas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Jaunzuria in the 54th minute of play forced Hungarian Olympic's goalkeeper Ábel Barta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. János Fazekas had several of the Caricancha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Simon Llorenc as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Fazekas in the 59th minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Simon Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Máté Berta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Jesus Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ábel Barta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caricancha's Victorino Rik got a free kick in the 84th minute. Hungarian Olympic's György Király couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caricancha. János Dala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Simon Llorenc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Llorenc made an important save on a dangerous shot by László Nemes in the 89th minute.
