Stamatis Bravos was a little too slow when Valentín Bello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. When O.T.E's Dimosthenis Tsalouchidis in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 13th minute, Angelillo Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thrasivoulos Stamatis struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. César Bertrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O.T.E. Modestio Jina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stamatis Bravos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Ancavil in the 18th minute of play. When Dimosthenis Tsalouchidis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O.T.E's protests and gave Dimosthenis Tsalouchidis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to O.T.E getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dimosthenis Tsalouchidis hit a great ball. César Bertrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Kakalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alipio Garbiso lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alipio Garbiso hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Thrasivoulos Stamatis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Bertrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Cipriano Ancavil got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Vassilis Symeonakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the O.T.E and the Ornitorrincos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vassilis Symeonakis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind O.T.E's goalkeeper Stamatis Bravos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stamatis Bravos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modestio Jina in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Ronaldo Kovasic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ornitorrincos F.C. booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimosthenis Tsalouchidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Modestio Jina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Iason Kantimiris. In the 63rd minute Modestio Jina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Bravos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Arboleda Soberano. Angelillo Fuente, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s José Carlos Zapata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamatis Bravos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. César Bertrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iason Kantimiris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Modestio Jina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Modestio Jina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stamatis Bravos came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ornitorrincos F.C.'s José Carlos Zapata. But to his dismay, José Carlos Zapata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 88th minute, Cipriano Ancavil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stamatis Bravos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Modestio Jina might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stamatis Bravos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modestio Jina ran back to his position shaking his head. Ornitorrincos F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of O.T.E for a fine match.
