In the 3rdth minute of the game Hélder Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 3 minutes, Hélder Madureira made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Edvaldo Pinho got a free kick in the 12th minute. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Percival Cunha hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Mats Berggren got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Norberg came free, but Caetano Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christer Utter fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guldsmedshyttan IK's protests and gave Christer Utter a yellow card for diving instead. Hélder Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jarl Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Arce in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeca Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Brodel. After recieving a nice pass, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Christer Utter tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Caetano Salles made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Viggo Wallengren sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Ezequiel Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Berggren in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Pinho. 47 minutes into the game, Karl-Ove Christoffersson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Caetano Salles. Karl-Ove Christoffersson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Madureira to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Manuel Loureiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guldsmedshyttan IK the free kick. After 54 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Loureiro. In the 55th minute Karl-Ove Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Madureira got free with Jarl Andreasson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Percival Cunha got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mats Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guldsmedshyttan IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cauan Paiva hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guldsmedshyttan IK's zone, Hélder Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal and Hélder Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Andreasson having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Linares to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Ove Christoffersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Ove Christoffersson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Los Andes FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Ezequiel Linares went to the cornerflag to take it. Ezequiel Linares made a great header on Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jarl Andreasson managed to reach the ball for a save.
