Prudencio Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Andreasson having to interfere. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Ondino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Utter made a great header on Guldsmedshyttan IK's corner, it was just that Cremonese's Horacio Vitin managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience held their breath when Teodosio Niva in the 65th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jarl Andreasson's left hand side. Victorio Txema's late challenge caught a Guldsmedshyttan IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
