The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hannes Torstensson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. János Dala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Torstensson having to make a save. Hannes Torstensson made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Máté Berta sent off a good shot on target. Jimmie Dusett's late challenge caught a Hungarian Olympic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Dusett helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmie Dusett hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Hannes Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from János Dala in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Samuel Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Máté Berta came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Hungarian Olympic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máté Berta couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Hungarian Olympic's János Dala ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hannes Torstensson. Hannes Torstensson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Hannes Torstensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by János Dala. Mihály Pollák kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. János Fazekas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Fazekas in the 53rd minute of play forced Mugiwara FC's goalkeeper Hannes Torstensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Máté Berta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Hannes Torstensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When János Dala came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Hungarian Olympic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Dala couldn't finish the play. Hannes Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Dala, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute János Fazekas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ábel Barta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Lång, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hannes Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Dala in the 73rd minute of play. Máté Berta's late challenge caught a Mugiwara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Király, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. János Fazekas took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hannes Torstensson. Hannes Torstensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hungarian Olympic fully deserved thier win.
