Michael Boström lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guldsmedshyttan IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Guldsmedshyttan IK's Viggo Wallengren got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Carlos Zapata was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s José Carlos Zapata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarl Andreasson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Zapata in the 58th minute of play forced Guldsmedshyttan IK's goalkeeper Jarl Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modestio Jina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelillo Fuente couldn't finish the play. Domingo Vivero's late challenge caught a Guldsmedshyttan IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, one of Ornitorrincos F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ornitorrincos F.C.. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Zapata in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarl Andreasson saved Guldsmedshyttan IK from getting behind. José Carlos Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jarl Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Guldsmedshyttan IK's goal looked a bit too open when José Carlos Zapata came free, but Jarl Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, José Carlos Zapata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornitorrincos F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
