Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Camillo Travaglini took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Bruno Maraman got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Aurelio Tomasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Dacio. In the 18th match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Txilar to maneuver through the defense. Filippo Di Girolamo was a little too slow when Bruno Maraman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Ercole Grande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Schuster booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes, Fabio Ferdinand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Ben Hur and the Schuster players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Schuster booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Andreola struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ovidio Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schuster. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Maraman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Desiderio Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Travaglini in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Ben Hur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristoforo Andreola was slow to take the kick. During this time Schuster's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cristoforo Andreola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidio Maureo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Maraman in the 60th minute of play forced Schuster's goalkeeper Filippo Di Girolamo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Tomasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ercole Grande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schuster were furious when Emanuele Orlandi was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Sportivo Ben Hur's Desiderio Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristoforo Andreola hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Desiderio Tancredo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Di Girolamo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Dacio. Sportivo Ben Hur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
