Fernando Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Nemesio Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Chong Yue in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Oso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huarriors AFC's Fernando Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Phelipe in the 38th minute of play. If Antonio Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleuterio Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Andres Ignatius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano de Pibasog's zone, Eleuterio Belarmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Ignatius came out of the goal and Eleuterio Belarmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, Belgrano de Pibasog's Yan Chong Yue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Oso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half Belgrano de Pibasog were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Havier was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Havier in the 54th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Yan Chong Yue managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Huarriors AFC defense, Yan Chong Yue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Oso. The Huarriors AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Oso should have stopped the shot. Yan Chong Yue in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Oso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nemesio Havier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Ignatius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Eleuterio Belarmo made a precise shot to the right of Andres Ignatius. Belgrano de Pibasog's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. 92 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Phelipe came free, but Fernando Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
