With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Hotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Basilio Cresencio made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Hotz. Club Atlethico Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Tano in the 22nd minute of play. CENTAURO's Basilio Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Hotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bittor in the 27th minute of play. Jonathan Tonete's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Siro Cordeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute Club Atlethico Talleres were awarded a corner. Rodolfo Cuarto went to the cornerflag to take it. When Rodolfo Cuarto fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlethico Talleres's protests and gave Rodolfo Cuarto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Rodolfo Cuarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Bittor in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Atlethico Talleres's goalkeeper Nemesio Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in CENTAURO's zone, Rodolfo Cuarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Cordeiro came out of the goal and Rodolfo Cuarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Victor Bittor could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Nemesio Hotz however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute, CENTAURO's Basilio Cresencio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nemesio Hotz. Nemesio Hotz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. When Saturnino Aznar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CENTAURO's protests and gave Saturnino Aznar a yellow card for diving instead. Saturnino Aznar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nemesio Hotz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Victor Bittor sent off a good shot on target. Victor Bittor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. CENTAURO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Basilio Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Hotz having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Club Atlethico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ipar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 82 minutes into the game, when Anacleto Elizardo put in a rough tackle. Nemesio Hotz had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Basilio Cresencio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Basilio Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victor Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes in the game, Basilio Cresencio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nemesio Hotz having to interfere. Club Atlethico Talleres's Nemesio Hotz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlethico Talleres from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Hotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Basilio Cresencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nemesio Hotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Cresencio ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CENTAURO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
