The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viggo Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Martin Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 13th minute of the match. Richy Van Mellaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Martin Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elliot Haeger during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mountainhammer United's Elliot Haeger got a free kick in the 17th minute. Viggo Larsfält could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dimitri Huijbreghts made a huge save. After 25 minutes of play Mountainhammer United's Elliot Haeger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Haeger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mountainhammer United's Martin Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Viggo Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitri Huijbreghts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Hellkvist didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 37th minute. Mountainhammer United's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Dimitri Huijbreghts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viggo Larsfält showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. Dimitri Huijbreghts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Hellkvist went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Hellkvist made a kick off. Michel Nilis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitri Huijbreghts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Jerome Helssen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquirla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mountainhammer United the free kick. Dimitri Huijbreghts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Larsfält in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Viggo Larsfält notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Esquirla FC's Dimitri Huijbreghts. Dimitri Huijbreghts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Gregorie De Mees hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Simon Wery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Victor Hellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountainhammer United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Hellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richy Van Mellaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play Esquirla FC's Jerome Helssen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th match minute, Mountainhammer United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Mountainhammer United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
