The audience was convinced that Saturnino Bastia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rai Villalcazar was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Saturnino Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saturnino Bastia scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rai Villalcazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC CHIVA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Juan Vacas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC CHIVA's Charles Hamberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. Saturnino Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lázaro Cordaryal fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Lázaro Cordaryal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Lázaro Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Bastia to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Yuriy Burov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pastor Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rai Villalcazar having to interfere. Enzo Grau struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Filomeno Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC CHIVA. Arnaldo Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rai Villalcazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Bastia in the 79th minute of the match. Charles Hamberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Saturnino Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rai Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Vennerkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fully deserved thier win.
