Spectators: 7654 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Calistrat Şerbănescu kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes STARK F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Paredes. In the 4th match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Eric Astafei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 8 minutes, Francisco Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STARK F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eric Astafei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Gurlui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Olimpiu Fecioru got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 31st minute Sebastian Istodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Covrig made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Abascal in the 35th minute. After 35 played minutes Francisco Abascal rounded PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Astafei in the 39th minute of the match. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Gurlui, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. STARK F.C.'s Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of STARK F.C. booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Cârlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Damian Cârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Abascal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to STARK F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Francisco Abascal hit a great ball. After 58 minutes of play, STARK F.C.'s Francisco Abascal made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calistrat Şerbănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s goalkeeper Gigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Cârlan. Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Cârlan got free with Gigi Buffon in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Francisco Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Damian Cârlan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Aaron Anselmino threw the ball into play from the sideline. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's George Gurlui quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The STARK F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
