A sloppy throw-in by Adolfo Halat in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New Loser FC's Olívio Coutinho. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Eger during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Erik Eger. Eliseu Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanio Lezaeta in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yeray Lisperguer in the 15th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Eliseu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gildo Corrêa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Apolo Larrañaga came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Corrêa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Gildo Corrêa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Gildo Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talcampeón FC's Apolo Larrañaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Corrêa in the 32nd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New Loser FC's Evaristo Guimarães managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luciano Vilches in the 36 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Gildo Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Larrañaga was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, João Carlos Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tanio Lezaeta made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Corrêa came free, but Apolo Larrañaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yeray Lisperguer sped through New Loser FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Negri. In the 59th minute, Ysmael Peraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Larrañaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Mattos in the 66th minute of play. Apolo Larrañaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Corrêa in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Corrêa in the 73rd minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Tanio Lezaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseu Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanio Lezaeta's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 79 minutes, Tanio Lezaeta made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Olívio Coutinho hit a great ball. Apolo Larrañaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Hernani Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Corrêa in the 94th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Apolo Larrañaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
