Keyes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Vacas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 20th minute, FC CHIVA's Juan Vacas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Szczepan Ludwa. Szczepan Ludwa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 24 minutes into the match, Keyes's goalkeeper Szczepan Ludwa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Regis Quevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regis Quevedo in the 25th minute of play forced Keyes's goalkeeper Szczepan Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Vacas got free with Szczepan Ludwa in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Keyes got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Kaczynski. A collision led to Keyes getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Maksymilian Hodas hit a great ball. Szczepan Ludwa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Juan Vacas sent off a good shot on target. When FC CHIVA's Gerardo Colsa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keyes's goalie prevented a goal. FC CHIVA's attentive Gerardo Colsa managed to snatch the ball when Gilbert Burdalski made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. When FC CHIVA's Regis Quevedo in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Keyes's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Regis Quevedo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Keyes's zone, Juan Vacas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szczepan Ludwa came out of the goal and Juan Vacas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Mieszko Wielopolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szczepan Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regis Quevedo in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Keyes's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Vacas came free, but Szczepan Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Kossakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rai Villalcazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Vacas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC CHIVA booed when Keyes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Wielopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC CHIVA getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Artemio Arraz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Maksymilian Hodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keyes's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Hodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rai Villalcazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szczepan Ludwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Regis Quevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Keyes got a freekick which was hit by Roch Sanocki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Lillo in the 84th minute of play forced Keyes's goalkeeper Szczepan Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Regis Quevedo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Szczepan Ludwa. Szczepan Ludwa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC CHIVA fully deserved thier win.
