Keyes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calistrat Şerbănescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Calistrat Şerbănescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Szczepan Ludwa came out and tried to block the shot, but Calistrat Şerbănescu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. Teofil Kaczynski hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Szczepan Ludwa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calistrat Şerbănescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's corner Sebastian Istodor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Szczepan Ludwa quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Sebastian Istodor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szczepan Ludwa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Calistrat Şerbănescu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calistrat Şerbănescu couldn't finish the play. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Dumitru Mititelu replaced Bogdan Rebengiuc. Szczepan Ludwa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Şerbănescu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Damian Cârlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Szczepan Ludwa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Şerbănescu in the 74th minute of play forced Keyes's goalkeeper Szczepan Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that George Gurlui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szczepan Ludwa was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Teofil Kaczynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Calistrat Şerbănescu sped through Keyes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Szczepan Ludwa. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Damian Cârlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Szczepan Ludwa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Şerbănescu's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Mieszko Wielopolski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
