The KoLiber fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to KoLiber getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Piotr Domin hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Júnior Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cruzeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Dubiel having to interfere. Zbigniew Penc hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Michalski came free, but Ivo Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Piotr Domin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milosz Kempski struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ivo Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KoLiber. After 31 minutes of play, KoLiber's Lukasz Dudzik made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klement Michalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Klement Michalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half KoLiber were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lukasz Dudzik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes KoLiber got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Dudzik. After a defensive mix-up in KoLiber's zone, Gonçalo Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Dubiel came out of the goal and Gonçalo Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Luís Guilherme Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Dubiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KoLiber booed when Real Cruzeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Maciej Nuszkowski from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Ivo Amaral's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. KoLiber's Karol Dubiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Cabral in the 95th minute of play. Ivo Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Domin in the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Piotr Domin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded KoLiber left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Cruzeiro FC.
