Alex Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Cotoi in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 defense, Walmyr Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Foltea. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Foltea should have stopped the shot. Leontin Cotoi struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alex Laguna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007. In the 15th minute, Léo Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Chițu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Laguna having to interfere. Alex Laguna came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Cristi Boboc. But to his dismay, Cristi Boboc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Cotoi got free with Alex Laguna in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bogdan Râmniceanu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Donato Arantes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosif Foltea was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Donato Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SRP-Laguna's Alex Laguna got control of the ball when Leontin Cotoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Cotoi in the 42nd minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Laguna made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cristi Boboc sent off a good shot on target. Alex Laguna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Cotoi in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurel Gorunescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Cristi Boboc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Laguna was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Walmyr Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iosif Foltea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. Leonel Queirós hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Cătălin Nicolae got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ediberto Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Cristi Boboc made a precise shot to the right of Alex Laguna. SRP-Laguna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Ediberto Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Ediberto Amorim got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 93 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Queirós. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
