The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Idrotoglou in the 8th minute of play forced ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Iosif Foltea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tilemachos Manouselis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leontin Cotoi in the 10th minute. Akis Vasilakopoulos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Cristi Ciuvică tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristi Boboc got free with Tilemachos Manouselis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tilemachos Manouselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Cotoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Karakotsos came free, but Iosif Foltea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leontin Cotoi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Panait Hrib kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Alexandros Karakotsos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Iosif Foltea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iosif Foltea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandros Karakotsos's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Iosif Foltea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Idrotoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Hrib didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tilemachos Manouselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Cotoi in the 43rd minute of play.

The wind increased when Aurel Gorunescu made the kick off in the second half. Alexandros Karakotsos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iosif Foltea firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Efthimis Stamatiadis hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Cristi Ciuvică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Cotoi in the 65th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tilemachos Manouselis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragiskos Stergakos kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Aurel Gorunescu suffered a concussion after 68 minutes and had to leave the field. After 68 minutes, Akis Vasilakopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabachana F.C. and the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 players grew even worse after the yellow card. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Mihăiţă Nebunu was substituted for Aurel Gorunescu. Tilemachos Manouselis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristi Boboc took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tilemachos Manouselis. Tilemachos Manouselis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 83 minutes of play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Filip Chițu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tilemachos Manouselis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilie Beraru hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Tabachana F.C.'s Tasos Kontosoros pulled a muscle in his leg after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Filip Chițu charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Chițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tabachana F.C.'s Alekos Kalioras was substituted for Tasos Kontosoros. In the 94th minute Alexis Idrotoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Foltea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
