The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Amorim during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vassilis Tournas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Laguna. SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donato Arantes hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Vassilis Tournas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Laguna. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Laguna should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, SRP-Laguna's Donato da Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tilemachos Manouselis. Tilemachos Manouselis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, SRP-Laguna's Wilian de Souza got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Donato Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SRP-Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Vassilis Tournas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of SRP-Laguna's Alex Laguna. Alex Laguna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Vassilis Tournas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Laguna. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Laguna should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Donato Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tilemachos Manouselis came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SRP-Laguna's Donato Arantes. But to his dismay, Donato Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alexandros Karakotsos came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Laguna could save by the left post. Alex Laguna was a little too slow when Alexis Idrotoglou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-4. Tabachana F.C.'s Tilemachos Manouselis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato da Silveira in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Tabachana F.C.'s Fragiskos Stergakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Laguna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Tilemachos Manouselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Tepedino in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, SRP-Laguna's Donato da Silveira made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tilemachos Manouselis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tilemachos Manouselis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donato da Silveira went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Tournas in the 83rd minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Alex Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Donato da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akis Vasilakopoulos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Akis Vasilakopoulos came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Laguna could save by the left post. Chicão Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Alex Laguna made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fragiskos Stergakos sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tabachana F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
