Froilan Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the game, Anier Ortzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leonides Sedeni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute Anier Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Salvino hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Guiñazú FC's Froilan Llorian threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Salvino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute Aldo Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Sedeni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Laurentzi in the 29th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Leonides Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Laurentzi in the 32nd minute of the match. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ortzi in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Esteban Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Lore in the 39th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Leonides Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Constantino Jacindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Sedeni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Almeyra F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Leonides Sedeni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Esteban Laurentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. Esteban Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Leonides Sedeni made a huge save. Guiñazú FC's Leonides Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Guiñazú FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Aldo Pes took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Leonides Sedeni to make any attempt to save it. When Aldo Pes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Almeyra F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Pes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Jacindo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Edelmiro Ticho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almeyra F.C. and the Guiñazú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Pes in the 82nd minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Leonides Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Adrian Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Hernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Sedeni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Guiñazú FC's Adrian Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Adrian Oier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. In the 93rd minute Felipe Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Almeyra F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guiñazú FC.
