Spectators: 7553 (Terracing: 5666, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joachim Hellgren started the match with the kick off. Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Bag in the 5th minute of play. Jo Bag kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Gottfrid Rang hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Andone got free with Jens-Åke Bank in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Gottfrid Rang got a free kick in the 14th minute. Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Surahammar from getting a goal against them. When Markus Bergsten fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surahammar's protests and gave Markus Bergsten a yellow card for diving instead. Markus Bergsten hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Per-Oskar Tinglöv hit a great ball. Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Zdroană in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Surahammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Lindmark to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Andone scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Åke Bank, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Åke Bank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Andone, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jo Bag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jo Bag was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Bag in the 52nd minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Bank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Basarab Zdroană ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Bank was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 58 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Baldazar. Jens-Åke Bank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Mavrogheni in the 68th minute of play. Jens-Åke Bank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Zdroană, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jens-Åke Bank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Zdroană, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Bag in the 75th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Bank to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Bank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Bag in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Zbârnea to maneuver through the defense. Markus Bergsten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manole Ghiondea. Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 92 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Östman. In the 93rd minute Jo Bag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Bank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Sebastian Andone ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Bank was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
