Claudio Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Mattsson's late challenge caught a Gladiadores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Mattsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Simon Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ivar Östman fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surahammar's protests and gave Ivar Östman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when Surahammar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Östman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Evelio Baristo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Hellgren in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Romelio saved Gladiadores from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Jesus Lluis got a free kick in the 20th minute. Wilfredo Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Bank having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Claudio Iturri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gladiadores and the Surahammar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evelio Baristo's late challenge caught a Surahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Baristo helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Baristo. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Fredric Olsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Leonardo Brolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cesar Romelio made a huge save. Jesus Lluis charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Lluis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio got control of the ball when Joachim Hellgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Monico to make the kick off. Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Lluis in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Hellgren came free, but Cesar Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Romelio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Fredric Olsson. But to his dismay, Fredric Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jesus Lluis got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores's Jesus Lluis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Rudolf Larsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesar Romelio. Gladiadores's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilfredo Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Brolin in the 72nd minute of play. Cesar Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Hellgren in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's Wilfredo Monico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Åke Bank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Åke Bank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Iturri in the 79th minute of the match. Jens-Åke Bank was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Iturri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. After some careless play in the Gladiadores defense, Fredric Olsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Romelio. The Gladiadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Romelio should have stopped the shot. Wilfredo Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Bank having to interfere. Surahammar's Jens-Åke Bank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Surahammar from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Surahammar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gladiadores had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
