In the 4th minute Eddy Raoult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Vâlcu in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moïse Kerbrat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorien Jaulin in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Valette Stars getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gaspard Héraud hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Edgar Tarcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Victorien Jaulin came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costică Perșa charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costică Perșa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Edgar Tarcu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Champions Iasi's protests and gave Edgar Tarcu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Tarcu to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Eddy Raoult notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorien Jaulin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Émilien Gentilhomme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiu Angheluță was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Alix Delange took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Sergiu Angheluță to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Émilien Gentilhomme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Angheluță should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Émilien Gentilhomme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. Champions Iasi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Émilien Gentilhomme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 95th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheikh Toullec to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match George Vâlcu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moïse Kerbrat skillfully saved the ball. Valette Stars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
