Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Albescu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Marin Albescu. In the 3rd minute of the match Jack Berggren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergiu Angheluță skillfully saved the ball. Olov Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sergiu Angheluță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Hedbom came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes, Ture Majman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blåvitt and the Champions Iasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Ture Majman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Olov Hedbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Angheluță should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute Ture Majman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Jupâneanu hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sergiu Angheluță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Majman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sergiu Angheluță came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Blåvitt's Olov Hedbom. But to his dismay, Olov Hedbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Åström in the 34th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costică Perșa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lukas Zander was a little too slow when Cazimir Zăraşcu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Majman in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olov Hedbom was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Ture Majman got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lukas Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cazimir Zăraşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Cazimir Zăraşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Berggren in the 57th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Sergiu Angheluță successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute, Olov Hedbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cazimir Zăraşcu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukas Zander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernst Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernst Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Wallin. Sergiu Angheluță made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Olov Hedbom sent off a good shot on target. Gustaf Åström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergiu Angheluță firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute Cazimir Zăraşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 minutes Blåvitt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Vâlcu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that George Vâlcu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lukas Zander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 80 minutes into the game, Blåvitt's Gustaf Åström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergiu Angheluță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Ernst Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Sergiu Angheluță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Åström. In the 85th minute, Blåvitt's Gustaf Åström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Olov Hedbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Sergiu Angheluță made a huge save. Sergiu Angheluță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Majman in the 89th minute of play. Eusebiu Gheondea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Blåvitt's Jack Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
