When Cazimir Zăraşcu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Champions Iasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Zăraşcu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 徐荣烽 during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. George Vâlcu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Champions Iasi's Sorin Năsturel in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Eduard Ghișe got a free kick in the 36th minute. A collision led to 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. 麦朋克 hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, 麦诚林 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute 雷庭青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when 雷庭青 came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Angheluță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 麦朋克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when 雷庭青 got free with Sergiu Angheluță in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 雷庭青 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as 麦朋克 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergiu Angheluță. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. 潘浩青 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Năsturel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 83 minutes, Niculae Măgureanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Măgureanu. 0-2 became the score in the 89th minute when 雷庭青 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 潘浩青 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Vâlcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Champions Iasi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund's performance. The match ended with a win for 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund.
