Cachiyuyo EAS's Eugenio Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Angheluță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Eugenio Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Mesquita couldn't finish the play. Luiz Fernando Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergiu Angheluță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Fernando Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Mesquita notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Champions Iasi's Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Guillermo Esiquio fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyo EAS's protests and gave Guillermo Esiquio a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Cachiyuyo EAS got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Esiquio. In the 73rd minute Luiz Fernando Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Angheluță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Năsturel hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Niculae Măgureanu made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sorin Năsturel. After 81 minutes, Cazimir Zăraşcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Champions Iasi and the Cachiyuyo EAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Champions Iasi's Cazimir Zăraşcu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Anier Osoitz took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergiu Angheluță. Sergiu Angheluță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Anier Osoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando Mesquita came free, but Sergiu Angheluță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cachiyuyo EAS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
