The supporters of Vamo A Calmarno booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Ghișe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 11 played minutes Vamo A Calmarno got a freekick which was hit by Americo Christobal. Sorin Năsturel, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Valentin Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, George Vâlcu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valentin Roldanillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valentin Roldanillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Vâlcu in the 17th minute. Sergiu Angheluță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Kelemen went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vamo A Calmarno's Valentin Roldanillo got control of the ball when Dacian Jumancă tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vamo A Calmarno's Rafael Donostia got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sorin Năsturel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eduard Ghișe hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Faustino Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Angheluță having to interfere. Cazimir Zăraşcu scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Roldanillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Roldanillo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Cazimir Zăraşcu sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Năsturel in the 45th minute of play. Sergiu Angheluță came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Vamo A Calmarno's Amadeo Lehior. But to his dismay, Amadeo Lehior quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Zăraşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentin Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Zăraşcu in the 53rd minute of the match. Cazimir Zăraşcu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Valentin Roldanillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champions Iasi. Faustino Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Năsturel in the 69th minute of play forced Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Valentin Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Năsturel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Niculae Măgureanu hit a great ball. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Kelemen in the 73rd minute of the match. Valentin Roldanillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Vâlcu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 78 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Năsturel. Faustino Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
