The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Coice de Mula getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pedro Lucas came out of the goal and Isaltino Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Isaltino Castro sped through Coice de Mula's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Lucas. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Fonseca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Lucas. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Thiago de Queiroz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Wanderson da Mata had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Sergipano. FALCÕES VERDES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 41 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Falcão. When Wanderson da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coice de Mula's protests and gave Wanderson da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Wanderson da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Júlio Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coice de Mula's Pedro Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Castro in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Fonseca to strike the kick off in the second half. FALCÕES VERDES's Isaltino Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Mula in the 59th minute of the match. Baltazar Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Edvaldo Soares's shot from long distance in the 64th minute was not bad at all, but FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 67thth minute of the game Isaltino Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coice de Mula's Pedro Lucas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, FALCÕES VERDES's Baltazar Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Lucas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 77th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Pires got free with Dalmo Sergipano in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Haroldo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Coice de Mula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Pires couldn't finish the play. Jardel Mula hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Júlio Fonseca took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Lucas. Pedro Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When Thiago de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FALCÕES VERDES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Pires in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Fonseca in the 94th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Pedro Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that FALCÕES VERDES were the better team. FALCÕES VERDES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
