SuperChango's Humberto Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save SuperChango from getting a goal against them. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Oosting to make the kick off. Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Bihar in the 53rd minute of play. Fabricio Unax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Casimiro Bihar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SuperChango's protests and gave Casimiro Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Casimiro Bihar got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Gert Hulzebos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He was immediately shown a red card.
