The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. In the 6th minute Júlio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Rondeau's Prospero Enaut made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dalmo Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Christian Fonda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Fonseca in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luis Selatse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute, Julio Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Júlio Fonseca put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Selatse. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Fonda in the 29th minute of the match. Nunez Froylan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rondeau's Luis Selatse got control of the ball when Richard Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Fonseca made a kick off. Dalmo Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 58th minute, Júlio Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Fonda's late challenge caught a FALCÕES VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Fonda helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondeau's Christian Fonda got a free kick in the 68th minute. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Enaut in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Marinho to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper Dalmo Sergipano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Rico. Dalmo Sergipano was a little too slow when Paulo Rico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. Dalmo Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Caradaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Laurin made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Paulo Rico however managed to control. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Júlio Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
