After 6 played minutes Kelmond S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeffrey Thomasse. Gertjan Reiling charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gertjan Reiling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SILMONT booed when Kelmond S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gertjan Reiling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daryl Riva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ferry Schattenberg. Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferry Schattenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Back in the 12th minute of play. Marlene Dietrich made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jan Oosting sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Back in the 17th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernst Overmars hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Alexis Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Schattenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kelmond S.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nathan Schulte hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Alexis Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Schattenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Back in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferry Schattenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 26 minutes, Charles-Henri Renaudin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SILMONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles-Henri Renaudin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Hosson in the 28th minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Marlene Dietrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Alexis Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Schattenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlene Dietrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Hulzebos went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Joffrey Noyelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Schattenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferry Schattenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles-Henri Renaudin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ferry Schattenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Henk Hosson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marlene Dietrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlene Dietrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Hosson in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexis Back to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferry Schattenberg was a little too slow when Joffrey Noyelle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 56 played minutes, Kelmond S.C.'s Nathan Schulte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marlene Dietrich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kelmond S.C. reached it. Marlene Dietrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Oosting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Laurent Rouille in the 61st minute really tested Ferry Schattenberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alexis Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferry Schattenberg having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SILMONT's Ferry Schattenberg threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alexis Back, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Hulzebos during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joffrey Noyelle in the 72nd minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, SILMONT's Joffrey Noyelle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Alexis Back could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ferry Schattenberg made a huge save. Alexis Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferry Schattenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Back's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
