Oka Latul charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oka Latul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oka Latul kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Henk Hosson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kelmond S.C.'s protests and gave Henk Hosson a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 32 in the game by Toto Toto from a close distance when the talented Ferry Schattenberg managed to make a qualified save. Kelmond S.C.'s players were relieved. If Toto Toto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baba Turan came free, but Ferry Schattenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oka Latul hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Toto in the 39th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Toto Toto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Toto Toto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ferry Schattenberg made a huge save. Ferry Schattenberg came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandung Tigers's Toto Toto. But to his dismay, Toto Toto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Oosting stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Toto Toto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Baba Turan notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Kelmond S.C.'s Ferry Schattenberg. Ferry Schattenberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferry Schattenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toto Toto in the 59th minute of play. Ferry Schattenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Toto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Kelmond S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Overmars. If Jan Oosting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bandung Tigers's Toto Toto got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Bandung Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Pera Wan. 77 minutes into the match, Kelmond S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Baba Turan came free, but Ferry Schattenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 77th minute of the match Jeffrey Thomasse completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeffrey Thomasse a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Bandung Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Bandung Tigers's Toto Toto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 83 minutes of play, Bandung Tigers's Aga Laen made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferry Schattenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferry Schattenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aga Laen in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Toto in the 94th minute of play forced Kelmond S.C.'s goalkeeper Ferry Schattenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bandung Tigers fully deserved thier win.
