Ismael de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Abaunza in the 3rd minute of play. Giuseppe Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Vicente Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Vicente Abaunza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Abaunza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Fabinho Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Reginaldo Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute S.E. Cachoeirinha were awarded a corner. Lauro Moura went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Lauro Moura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Regresado's Leonides Quintyn did a great save. Ismael de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Regresado's Leonides Quintyn got control of the ball when Rafinha Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Regresado's goalkeeper Leonides Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginaldo Teixeira. After a rather tough play, Regresado's Enzo Astrada got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lauro Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonides Quintyn. Regresado's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Regresado's Leonides Quintyn got control of the ball when Fabinho Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Regresado's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Teixeira came free, but Leonides Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Vicente Abaunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Abaunza in the 43rd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Quintyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Gonçalves in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Enzo Astrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Abaunza made a kick off. Regresado's Vicente Abaunza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Fabinho Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Quintyn was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Reginaldo Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonides Quintyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Abaunza in the 66th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Regresado's Ismael de Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vicente Abaunza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Zacarias Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael de Carvalho came out of the goal and Zacarias Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Regresado's Ramiro Cebrian got a free kick in the 75th minute. Regresado's Leonides Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Vinhas in the 76th minute of play. Zacarias Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Escobar in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael de Carvalho saved S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Regresado's Vicente Abaunza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael de Carvalho. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. In the 88th minute, Ismael Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Hélder Proença got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Dalmo Peixoto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Quintyn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Fabinho Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E. Cachoeirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Regresado's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
