The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugon Raszkiewicz was a little too slow when Mathias Berger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sagarana Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiori Arósio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Opus Dei were awarded a corner. Damazy Gongola went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Damazy Gongola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dráuzio Arantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, Opus Dei's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Prado came free, but Hugon Raszkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. Opus Dei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleiton Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th of the match, Fiori Arósio tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hugon Raszkiewicz got in the way and made a wonderful save. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Opus Dei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Wojno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tostão Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Oséas Silveira hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oséas Silveira to make the kick off. When Cássio Prado fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sagarana Clube's protests and gave Cássio Prado a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Prado. After a defensive mix-up in Sagarana Clube's zone, Oséas Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráuzio Arantes came out of the goal and Oséas Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patryk Lisewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dráuzio Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Opus Dei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Bednarek to maneuver through the defense. Oséas Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Dráuzio Arantes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Mathias Berger came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sagarana Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Berger couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sagarana Clube had won after a very even match.
