The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Abaunza in the 5th minute of the match. Fausto Oxel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Vicente Abaunza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Raulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Escobar came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Henrico. A sloppy throw-in by Rosendo Lobo in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La Zabaleta's Aureliano Franco. In the 25th minute Vicente Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Regresado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Raulo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Abaunza went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Adrio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Quintyn. That made the score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Regresado's Vicente Abaunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Raulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Vicente Abaunza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Angelino Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Min's late challenge caught a Regresado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Min helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Min to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Regresado getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Enzo Astrada hit a great ball. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Abaunza in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Regresado were awarded a corner. Segundo Bidun went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramiro Cebrian heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zacarias Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Angelino Raulo made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Zacarias Escobar notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo. Angelino Raulo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Ismael Acuña in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Zabaleta's Arturo Henrico. Isidro Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Leonides Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save La Zabaleta from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo got control of the ball when Marciano Herena tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Regresado's Zacarias Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Raulo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Abaunza in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Abaunza came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Zacarias Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Raulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The La Zabaleta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Regresado were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
