An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Herauso in the 5th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Hélder Proença got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Romulo Hibai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael de Carvalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Isidro Adrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute Zacarias Herauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Teixeira in the 15th minute of play. Fabinho Vinhas took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelino Raulo. Angelino Raulo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 33rd match minute, S.E. Cachoeirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. If Isidro Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Raulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira in the 38th minute of play. Angelino Raulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Vinhas in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Generoso Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Zabaleta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E. Cachoeirinha the free kick. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Raulo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Fabinho Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. La Zabaleta's Angelino Raulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Teixeira in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reginaldo Teixeira made a kick off. Angelino Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Teixeira came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th match minute, La Zabaleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Min to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Hílton Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Raulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Raulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Teixeira in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Reginaldo Teixeira put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Angelino Raulo. After 85 minutes of play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Fabinho Vinhas made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Raulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Teixeira came free, but Angelino Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
