The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Fillos de Breogán:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hermosillo FC:s goal. Samuel Laurentzi took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubén Diaz. Rubén Diaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Samuel Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Dino in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubén Diaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes of play, Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubén Diaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubén Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Benat in the 24th minute of play. Rubén Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fillos de Breogán's Rubén Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Benat in the 33rd minute of play. Rubén Diaz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Samuel Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Donato Adrio put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Rubén Diaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Adrio in the 45th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Rubén Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubén Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Primeiro in the 46th minute of play. Rubén Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubén Diaz came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Samuel Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Samuel Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Adrio to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Adrio got free with Rubén Diaz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Torcuato Carballido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubén Diaz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Victorio Dino sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Cosme Ruiz suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 60 minutes, Joaquin Mano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hermosillo FC and the Fillos de Breogán players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Hermosillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Mano. After a defensive mix-up in Fillos de Breogán's zone, Silvano Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Diaz came out of the goal and Silvano Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubén Diaz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat. But to his dismay, Silvano Benat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Fillos de Breogán's Rubén Diaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Fillos de Breogán from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Silvano Benat notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Fillos de Breogán's Rubén Diaz. Rubén Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the game, Zunbeltz Olle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fillos de Breogán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. Zunbeltz Olle hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Rubén Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Laurentzi in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Dino got free with Rubén Diaz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Dino came free, but Rubén Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaime Fuentes to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Victorio Dino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rubén Diaz, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Rubén Diaz got control of the ball when Victorio Dino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubén Diaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Adrio in the 91st minute. Silvano Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rubén Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubén Diaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Laurentzi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 94 minute of play. If Donato Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Adrio in the 98th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Rubén Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fillos de Breogán fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hermosillo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
