In the 15th minute Zalán Pető shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otong Karimudin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zalán Pető in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otong Karimudin saved PS Gunung Sindur from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Kántor to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nimród Vére booed when PS Gunung Sindur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebieth Suryadinata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ebieth Suryadinata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Zalán Pető put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Otong Karimudin. Irul Katehokangs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got János Saághy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Pető in the 44th minute of play forced PS Gunung Sindur's goalkeeper Otong Karimudin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Máté Ábrahám to make the kick off. János Saághy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tintus Makariem in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Gábor Lányi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Nimród Vére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Lányi to maneuver through the defense. If Irul Katehokang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tintus Makariem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irul Katehokang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. János Saághy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Irul Katehokang managed to get in a good position for a shot. PS Gunung Sindur's supporters rose to their feet, but Irul Katehokang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Saághy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bálint Fekete kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tintus Makariem in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg János Saághy saved Nimród Vére from getting behind. János Saághy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tintus Makariem, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Elek Sipos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Kent-Are Rock was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes PS Gunung Sindur got a freekick which was hit by Sahat Putro. In the 87th match minute, PS Gunung Sindur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent-Are Rock to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Irul Katehokang notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nimród Vére's János Saághy. János Saághy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
