Nimród Vére's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Clementsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 40thth minute of the game Ian Clementsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nimród Vére's János Saághy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zalán Pető might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Stanley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zalán Pető ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Máté Ábrahám made the kick off in the second half. Donato Fix hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Marcelino Lartaun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of János Saághy. The goal made the score 0-6. 62 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Clementsson came free, but János Saághy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Abuelo in the 64th minute of play forced Nimród Vére's goalkeeper János Saághy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
