Alberto Giorda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Ioritz went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Pedro Ioritz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Pedro Ioritz notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Merceron United's Alberto Giorda. Alberto Giorda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Teodoro Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Conti in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Cirelli to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Ioritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alberto Giorda made a huge save. When Merceron United's Arrigo Di Crescenzo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalie prevented a goal. The Merceron United fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Merceron United's Arrigo Di Crescenzo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Merceron United's Alberto Giorda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Pedro Ioritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Giorda was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Teodoro Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Conti, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Monaco. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Emilio Conti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceron United's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Conti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Ioritz got free with Alberto Giorda in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Giorda came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Pedro Ioritz. But to his dismay, Pedro Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.

Bonifacio Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Teodoro Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Cirelli in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bonifacio Chepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Giorda was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Alberto Giorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ioritz in the 58th minute of play. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Teodoro Frechoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Merceron United were awarded a corner. Alfredo Monaco went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Conti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Ioritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alberto Giorda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Giorda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Donzel's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Pedro Ioritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Ioritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Giorda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Merceron United's Emilio Conti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodoro Frechoso. That made the score 4-2 after 73 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Conti got free with Teodoro Frechoso in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Giorda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Lastur in the 80th minute of the match. Pedro Ioritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Frank Pizzi fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merceron United's protests and gave Frank Pizzi a yellow card for diving instead. Alberto Giorda went to the wrong direction when Pedro Ioritz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Frank Pizzi hit a great ball. Alberto Giorda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Donzel went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the game, David Donzel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Alberto Giorda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arrigo Di Crescenzo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Frechoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arrigo Di Crescenzo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS defense, Emilio Conti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Frechoso. The CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Frechoso should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS had played much better football throughout.
