With an all-out effort, Leon Sport Club's Cresitobalo Candela threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from César Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Mazza in the 5th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Cresitobalo Candela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Rony Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresitobalo Candela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bitxintxo Zamora took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Valle. Beto Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Fran Gómez came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Auriolam II C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fran Gómez couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute César Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresitobalo Candela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cresitobalo Candela made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sandrinho Eger sent off a good shot on target. Hamílton do Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cresitobalo Candela came out and tried to block the shot, but Hamílton do Nascimento slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vladimir Tróia hit a great ball. Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaizka Coira in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Leon Sport Club's César Ferreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cresitobalo Candela. Cresitobalo Candela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wágner Mazza got free with Cresitobalo Candela in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cresitobalo Candela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Auriolam II C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fran Gómez to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when César Ferreira came free, but Cresitobalo Candela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bitxintxo Zamora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, César Ferreira notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Auriolam II C.F.'s Cresitobalo Candela. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's César Ferreira got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bitxintxo Zamora came free, but Beto Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gaizka Coira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes of play, Leon Sport Club's Hamílton do Nascimento made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cresitobalo Candela was left in no man's land by his defense there!
