A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Braulio Cresconio hit a great ball. Delmiro Innocenzio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Braulio Cresconio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACF Fiorentina and the Sajones F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sajones F.C. booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Cresconio in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Lavalle came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sajones F.C.'s Julio Quinten got control of the ball when Esteban Eutropio tried to sneak it across the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's Maximo Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Richie in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Sajones F.C. were awarded a corner. Clemente Gonzales went to the cornerflag to take it. Serafino Jerano made a great header on Sajones F.C.'s corner, it was just that ACF Fiorentina's Maximo Gasteiz managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Libertad in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Gasteiz saved ACF Fiorentina from getting behind. In the 34th minute Sebastian Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ACF Fiorentina fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ACF Fiorentina's Esteban Eutropio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute, ACF Fiorentina's Tomás Belmonte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomás Belmonte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ACF Fiorentina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomás Belmonte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 45th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Belmonte to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Jerano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Richie to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sajones F.C.'s German Arnas got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fabio Chinto, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Richie in the 56th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Maximo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Mauro Chaime replaced Inocencio Loco. In the 59th minute, Esteban Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Urtungo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Sajones F.C.'s Serafino Jerano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Gasteiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Silvio Orkatz replaced Serafin Ordono. After 73 minutes of play, ACF Fiorentina's Esteban Eutropio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebio Urtungo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Orkatz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Cresconio in the 79th minute of play forced Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Julio Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Gasteiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Jerano in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Sajones F.C. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. German Arnas hit a great ball. Fabio Chinto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Julio Quinten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Fiorentina. Sajones F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
