Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Joachim in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanio Abeita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Pennant during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Peter Pennant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 梅荣光 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leobardo Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Leobardo Abajas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 梅荣光 was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Leicester Foxes Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Tibalt Abellaneda came free, but 梅荣光 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lesardo Abello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Tibalt Abellaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mandarina Mecánica and the Leicester Foxes Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Tibalt Abellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanio Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tanio Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Niven in the 43rd minute of play. Lesardo Abello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 梅荣光 having to interfere. If Tibalt Abellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Leicester Foxes Academy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Pennant to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Joachim hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Tanio Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Pennant. In the 63rd match minute, La Mandarina Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Abella to maneuver through the defense. Tanio Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jez Alcock in the 66th minute of the match. Tanio Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Pennant, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Lesardo Abello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute Lesardo Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 梅荣光 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Leicester Foxes Academy booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jez Alcock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Foxes Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jez Alcock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanio Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Donato Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neil Lennon kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Stefan Rowett got a free kick in the 94th minute.
