In the 3rd minute Desiderio Marti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriel Argandoña, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sebastian Blomkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriel Argandoña's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Adriel Argandoña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, MaLe FC's Petr Čech threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thor Rolfsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Algarrobo's Jaume Charlin was substituted for Tomás Alday. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriel Argandoña, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sebastian Blomkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaume Charlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriel Argandoña came free, but Sebastian Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Algarrobo's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Rolfsson in the 19th minute of play. Desiderio Marti scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Blomkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Thor Rolfsson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Petr Čech. The supporters of Algarrobo booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Marti to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Desiderio Marti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Rolfsson came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Wenerdahl got free with Petr Čech in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Adriel Argandoña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Blomkvist. MaLe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adriel Argandoña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Marti made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriel Argandoña came free, but Sebastian Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Čech having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Markus Wenerdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Zebastian Sörman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriel Argandoña in the 69th minute of play forced MaLe FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Blomkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriel Argandoña went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute of the match, Adriel Argandoña tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Blomkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 73 minutes into the game, Adriel Argandoña recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Blomkvist. Adriel Argandoña showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Möllgren in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Markus Wenerdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save MaLe FC from getting a goal against them. Algarrobo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
